As our nation begins to come alive again after the past year of dormancy, local DC theater artists Anna DiGiovanni and Rachel Felstein invite you to join their effort to bring live work back to the stage! Along with director Séamus Miller, these ladies are delighted to be bringing you a fresh adaptation of Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT. Presented at the iconic D.C. War Memorial, this 1970’s themed, 90 minute adaptation by Mr. Miller will be chock full of music, gender bends, and passion for the play’s immortal words.
Our play will run two weekends in August 2021 for a total of 8 performances. Music will begin at 7pm, and our small, socially distanced audience will experience the magic of dusk at the Memorial while enjoying the performance. Our fabulously talented friend Tori Boutin will be leading us as our Music Director, weaving arrangements of classic hits and original songs into the story for something all our own.
Please consider donating to our GoFundMe campaign to help furnish our budget at: https://gofund.me/b8026560. No donation is too big or too small, whatever you are able to contribute is well appreciated and will be well used to help us make this production come to life.
We’ll see you at the theater, stay groovy and stay safe!
